KRIS BOYD has slammed the “disgraceful” decision not to award Cyriel Dessers a penalty against Athletic Bilbao.
The Rangers hero was in disbelief when the Nigerian was denied his spot-kick despite having his shirt almost ripped clean off in the Bilbao box.

Dessers, 30, was hauled down by Spanish defender Dani Vivian in the danger area in the early stages of the Europa League clash but nothing came of it.
The Nigerian hitman was furious and let rip at Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto for refusing to acknowledge the incident.
The striker attempted to get on the end of a loose ball from Ridvan Yilmaz and was pulled down after he adjusted his run and seemingly got the better of the Spaniard.
Dessers appealed to the officials and pointed to his ruined shirt which had been torn across his chest.

He was ordered to switch shirts and was booked by the referee for re-entering the field of player before getting the all-clear.
Speaking on TNT Sports, former Rangers manager and player Giovanni van Bronckhorst couldn’t believe his eyes and demanded answers from Uefa over the controversial flashpoint.
Fans expressed their anger on social media too.
And addressing the flashpoint live on Sky Sports, fuming Boyd hit out: “It’s a disgrace, a stonewall penalty. Cyriel Dessers has had to go off to change his shirt.
“It was a slack pass but Dessers has been able to turn and get away from him (Vivien). Vivien pulls his shirt and it’s ripped right across the middle.
“I cannot believe for the life of me why that has not been given as a penalty kick. He’s not even been sent to the monitor.
“It’s a terrible decision. He (Dessers) actually got booked for coming back onto the pitch with his new shirt on. Stonewall penalty.
“It’s incredible. The full shirt is ripped right across the middle.”
Rangers had already been dealt a tough card last week at Ibrox when Robin Propper was sent off early doors.
Liam Kelly saved a penalty late on to keep them in the tie.
But he couldn’t replicate his heroics at the Estadio de San Mames as Oihan Sancet opened the scoring in the tie from 12 yards just before the half-time break.
