It looks like the Whites are making strides to address the attack. According to TBR Football, Leeds are one of multiple clubs chasing Celtic striker Daizen Maeda. The 27-year old has scored 16 goals in the Scottish Premiership this season. The report claims Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are all monitoring the Japanese international. Celtic reportedly have a £25million price tag on the striker.
Maeda has two years left on his deal in Scotland, with rumours hinting that he would be open to a move to England.

The 27-year old would be the ideal replacement for Joel Piroe. Having more than one striker in the team would help in the Premier League next season. Maeda is a typical box striker, he uses his positioning to sniff out chances in the box.

He has 20 goals this season, four coming from the Champions League – which shows the quality he has. £25million is a steep price, but Leeds could afford it. Selling Mateo Joseph to Betis for £12million, could be a plausible way to fund this move.
