Leeds and Burnley are both locked on 97 points apiece heading into the final day of action, presenting a unique opportunity for two sides to end on a century of points, with one side of course set to miss out on being crowned champions.
The Whites travel to Plymouth Argyle, who are clinging on to their Championship status by the skin of their teeth, while the Clarets host play-off chasing Millwall.
Although Leeds or Burnley will create history on Saturday by becoming the best second-placed side ever in the competition, it’s Daniel Farke’s men who are in the driving seat, boasting a superior goal difference by 13.
All three points for the West Yorkshire side would therefore be enough to lift the title, with Scott Parker hoping for a slip-up. Either way, one side will be annoyed with what the EFL have announced ahead of kick-off.

Well, according to journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon, the EFL have placed two trophies at Plymouth and Burnley as there’s no way they can gamble on the results or even use a helicopter as the distance of around 300 miles is too far.
Controversially, though, the real trophy will be at one of the grounds while the other is a replica, which could cause anger from supporters.
It can only be presumed that the real trophy is waiting at Home Park, as Leeds have the greater chance of celebrating a title win, but that information hasn’t been disclosed to avoid any outrage from the fans.
Plymouth’s record against the top 10 could offer Burnley hope
Plymouth will be a League One side next season, needing a 14-goal swing and other results to go their way to avoid their fate.
But, while the Pilgrims have nothing to play for and Leeds are expected to win, there is one thing that could offer Burnley hope in the title race.
Heading into the final day, Plymouth’s record against the top 10 at home is outstanding, winning six, drawing three and losing one while scoring 22 goals in the process.
Although Leeds are predicted to thrash Plymouth, avoiding complacency will give Farke’s men the edge, as they aim to bow out in style.
However, if they do slip up at Home Park, Burnley could be there to pounce by beating Millwall.
