Leeds United may be heading to the Premier League, but they’re still likely to make sales in order to boost their ability to spend big in improving the squad.
Promotion was secured last month for Leeds and the club can now look ahead to their return to the Premier League.
It’s a daunting prospect to think about trying to survive in the Premier League, not helped by the EFL’s statement on closing jurisdiction loopholes, meaning Leeds and others will have to take into account their losses from the Championship when spending in the top flight.
Selling players of little importance to the starting lineup going into the summer is something the club have to do too, allowing more room to spend on important signings.

Jack Harrison
Many would be forgiven for completely forgetting about Jack Harrison after using his loan clause to stay away from Elland Road two seasons in a row.
However, it’s been more difficult to put Harrison to the back of your mind when logging into social media and seeing what Everton fans think of the winger – spoiler, they hold him in similar regard to Leeds, but purely for footballing reasons.
Despite this, Toffees boss David Moyes is said to be pleased with his work ethic and could explore a permanent deal, while MLS clubs have held exploratory talks earlier in 2025.
There is interest out there for him, and the fact that his £11million fee at Leeds has been amortised means any fee we get for him is going to be posted as profit.
