Leicester fans turn on club after brutal rejection of special Jamie verdy requests – Betrayal of the Foxes!

No Vardy tifo

Leicester have rejected a request from supporters for a tifo tribute to Jamie Vardy at their final home match of the season.

Sunday’s clash with Ipswich will be Vardy’s final appearance for the Foxes at the King Power Stadium.

The club legend will depart after 13 years when his contract expires this summer.

Fan group Union FS have now revealed they have had multiple proposals to honour Vardy at the match rejected by the club.

In a statement released on X, the group said: “The man deserves unending thanks from us for the memories he has brought to our city since 2012 and we had proposed a full-stand display in the Kop to do just that.

“Our request was rejected, on the basis that the club will move forward with a club-funded agency provided display to cover the whole stadium.

“Our position will never change: tifo by fans, not hired hands.”

The club’s decision has been met with backlash from supporters on social media.

In response, one fan commented: “This club never ceases to annoy me.”

Another added: “The club really hates the fans that use their voice.”
