TROPHY DAY is supposed to be a joyous, celebratory time – particularly for a Celtic board who are on the cusp of another treble with the best part of £100m in the bank.
But a banner unfurled in the Green Brigade section of Celtic Park shows that the Hoops ultras are FAR from happy – as they called for the removal of CEO Michael Nicholson.

Nicholson is in the group’s crosshairs for reportedly denying them permission to display a trophy day tifo.
They took aim at an ‘OUTSOURCED’ official club tifo which fans were encouraged to take part in instead.
And now images taken during the first half of today’s clash with St Mirren shows a banner with Nicholson’s face behind a red cross.
It must have been something of a shock for Nicholson – who was in attendance at today’s game along with major shareholder Dermot Desmond

Taking to social media, the supporters group said: “Fan tifos banned, outsourced tifos planned,” with an attached picture from behind the scenes within the Parkhead stadium.
Such displays have been a point of huge contention recently, namely the Rangers ‘rebel scum’ image of Graeme Souness hung out before the Old Firm earlier this month.
Questions were asked of how an ‘unacceptable’ banner of that scale condemned by the club made it into the ground.
