Josuha Guilavogui is set to leave Leeds United this summer and become a free agent once again.
That’s according to RMC Sport and journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who report that Leeds have decided not to extend the midfielder’s contract.
RMC Sport report that after playing 16 games in Leeds’ promotion back to the Premier League this season, Josuha Guilavogui is set to leave Elland Road this summer.
The midfielder had only signed with Leeds for one season it appears that Daniel Farke’s side have decided against extending the 34-year-old’s deal further. He will again find himself out of contract.
RMC report that Guilavogui is open to a new challenge, so it appears that he does not intend to retire but continue playing elsewhere.
He’s had a varied career to date playing in France, Spain, Germany and England with Leeds, who he joined on a free transfer in October 2024 after being released by Mainz in July last year. He had previously been a free agent before that after leaving Wolfsburg in July 2023 and joining Mainz in September that year.
