Leeds United are desperate to keep defender Junior Firpo at Elland Road, amid uncertainty over his future.
Firpo is out of contract this summer and has been strongly linked with a move back to Real Betis in La Liga, despite promotion to the Premier League.
The left-back has been a crucial figure for Leeds yet again, showing his attacking prowess as he provided 10 assists in the Championship.
Plenty of clubs are interested in the 28-year-old, but Leeds may now be more confident of getting him to sign on the dotted line.
Leeds offer Firpo a new contract
Leeds want to keep Firpo at Elland Road, and have now tabled him an offer they hope will be too good to turn down.
With the Whites now back in the Premier League, they may stand a chance of beating the likes of Betis to his signature on fresh terms, but the prospect of returning to Spain may entice Firpo away.
Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo (21 May) has now revealed that Leeds have tabled a “juicy” offer for Firpo to stay, while Betis are yet to make a formal approach.

The contract offer on the table would run until 2029 and will seemingly offer a much bigger salary than Firpo is currently on.
Lazio have also made an offer, and Firpo will decide his future in the coming weeks, but it is claimed that if Betis are to bring him back, they will need to move quickly.
Firpo will be tough to replace for Leeds
Firpo has been sensational for Leeds, and his attacking output from left-back will be very tough to replace.
Although he may not be afforded the same time on the ball or freedom to push forward in the Premier League, he is one of the more experienced players in the squad and has proven his quality.
Despite struggles after first joining, surely the left-back would fancy another crack at the Premier League to prove himself at the highest level again.
If Firpo does end up leaving for free, it will add another headache for the Whites this summer ahead of what could be a busy transfer window.
Leeds do have spending power, but they will need to focus on other areas, such as a goalkeeper and a striker, before they sign a left-back, and keeping Firpo would be a massive boost in this regard.
