Leeds United are making progress on a lot of fronts ahead of the summer transfer window. Now, the fans have an idea of how the squad is shaping up after this week.
The Whites released their retained list during the weekend, showing which players would stay at the club. Josuha Guilavogui was among the names set to depart later this month. In a shocking turn of events, Leeds are considering new deals for both Sam Byram and Junior Firpo.
It already looks like Daniel Farke will be heavily involved in transfers, after club chairman Paraag Marathe backed the German coach a few weeks ago.

Leeds United handed Manor Solomon update

Farke was instrumental in last summer’s transfer window, being the key behind some signings.
Leeds could make their latest signing this offseason after recent news. A familiar face could join Elland Road in the coming months, after Manor Solomon’s agent spoke about the player’s future.
In an interesting interview, Solomon’s agent Shlomi Ben Ezra revealed the result of talks with Marseille:
“[Roberto] De Zerbi sent a message to Manor, but he told him that he could not play for Marseille for political reasons,” he was quoted be Le 10 Sport.
Ben Ezra then hinted that the door is wide open to a Leeds United move this summer.
“It’s difficult to play in another league when you’ve had a taste of the Premier League. Manor is having a great time at Leeds, but he’s under contract with Spurs.
“He likes the Premier League, but in football, you never know… It all depends on what Daniel Levy wants to do. Manor likes English football and he’ll prefer the Premier League… But in football, you never know what might happen.”
Club need to seal the deal
A deal for Manor Solomon looked done and dusted after his parting words at the end of the season. The Marseille links were a cause for concern after the French side qualified for the Champions League. And now that a deal is off, according to the agent at least, Leeds can swoop in.
An attacker who knows the team, coach and system is an easy fit for next season. Solomon also comes with Premier League experience at Fulham and Spurs, all the Whites need to do is complete the move.
