Red Bull’s latest plans revealed after Leeds United’s promotion to the Premier League

The 49ers are hoping to make Leeds United one of the best clubs in Europe once again.
This was the stunning claim by Paraag Marathe, as the ambition from the Leeds ownership is there for all to see.

But they will have to put their words into action and begin their long journey to the top, starting from this transfer window.
It’s expected to be an exciting summer with £100m+ available to Leeds, but the signings need to be spot on.
Well, Red Bull, who are a minority owner of the Whites, have made their stance clear ahead of the window.

The energy drink giants have proven to be a useful component to Leeds through not only their brilliant appearance on the front of the shirt, but also their behind-the-scenes work.
Marathe and Red Bull have a plan with the aim of making Leeds generate more financially and will be hoping to do so with the expansion of Elland Road.
Adding onto this, Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer Jurgen Klopp could be involved in Leeds’ transfers, in what is a mild rumour thus far.

Well, after it was claimed that Red Bull diluted their share, fans potentially questioned whether they were all in with the 49ers’ project.
But Yorkshire Evening Post sources suggest that the shares ‘have not been diluted’, saying ‘The Red Bull agreement states Red Bull have maintained their original shareholding, believed to be just shy of 10 per cent’.
It’s been deemed ‘unlikely’ that the drinks corporation would reduce its shareholding upon the club’s return to the Premier League.

Whether Leeds can use the multi-club Red Bull model this summer
It hasn’t been revealed too much how Leeds’ multi-club model with Red Bull will work, as there is a plethora of European clubs involved with the company.
Previously, it’s been stated that Red Bull could increase their stake, but they seem content to keep their current status.
But whether there is an opportunity for Leeds to venture the multi-club model this window is unanswered, as many clubs could offer their services.

Leipzig would be an interesting one with Farke’s history of buying players from the Bundesliga and especially as Leeds’ strategy revolves around Farke.
