‘Everton now hold Tottenham ace for Richarlison return despite Moyes denial’
Everton now have a much greater chance of bringing Richarlison back to the club from Tottenham in the summer transfer window thanks to their off-field developments.
The Brazilian is of course no stranger to the Toffees, having spent four years on Merseyside between 2018 and 2022, playing a key role in avoiding relegation under Frank Lampard.
He was then sold to Spurs three years ago, and despite helping them win the Europa League this season, his time with the North London outfit has been mixed at best.
As a result, there have been suggestions that Tottenham could accept an offer for Richarlison in the summer transfer window, which has prompted speculation of a return to Everton.

Amid that uncertainty around his future, it has been reported that the Toffees are indeed keen to to re-sign the Brazil international this summer [Sky Sports].
In response to that, Everton manager David Moyes has publicly played down suggestions of a return to Merseyside for the 28-year-old, claiming there is “zero truth in that from my side”.

There remains the possibility that he may be doing that in order to give little away about his side’s plans for the summer, either to avoid inciting competition for the Brazilian’s signature from elsewhere or tipping his hand too much to Spurs.
With so many players out of contract this summer, there is no avoiding the fact that Moyes will need numerous new signings before the start of next season.
If they decide to target their former forward as one of those additions, they may now have a very good chance of getting a deal done.
Earlier this season, Football Insider reported that Richarlison would be open to returning to Everton if the opportunity arises, and the Toffees may now have got another boost over their hopes of signing him.

As per a new update from The Athletic, Leeds United CEO Angus Kinnear was key to the club signing Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham last summer.
That was apparently due to his good relationship with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, which may now prove just as important when it comes to the future of Richarlison.
Kinnear has of course left his role at Leeds to join Everton, meaning the Toffees may now be the ones to benefit from his links with Levy thanks to the new set up under the Friedkin Group.

Should that prove to be the case, it would put them in a stronger position to negotiate with Spurs over a return to Merseyside for Richarlison.
Given the impact he made during his previous spell at Everton and that clear need for reinforcements, this latest update around Kinnear is one that should raise some excitement among their supporters.
