Yves Bissouma could become the second Everton signing of the summer transfer window.
After concluding a deal to sign Carlos Alcaraz, the Toffees will be looking to ramp up their efforts to seal more incomings this summer.
David Moyes has worked wonders at Everton since arriving, but that progress will only continue if they recruit well in the coming months.
With that in mind, the Merseysiders will be looking to bolster their midfield even further, with an update on Tottenham’s Bissouma emerging from North London.
Bissouma could make Everton move
Adding more midfield options may not be at the top of the list of priorities for Everton, though Moyes will be looking to bolster his squad wherever possible.
With Idrissa Gueye set to sign a new contract, they have options, but according to Ben Jacobs, Bissouma may be on their radar this summer.
Speaking on The Last Word Spurs (2 June), Jacobs said: “Bissouma is aware of this volume of interest, even Everton, I’m told, could come into the mix because they’re going to be losing a couple of midfielders and also looking to strengthen in that area.”

Of course, Bissouma has an immense amount of experience in Premier League football and is also a very talented midfielder.
While that area of the squad may not be the priority to address, his addition would inject some serious quality into the side, and it may prove to be an option too good to turn down for the Toffees.
Moyes must be backed in the transfer window
Everton can achieve something special under Moyes next season, but their chances of doing so will largely come down to their business in the coming months.
The Toffees had a solid end to the campaign, but without a fresh injection of quality, the likelihood is that their fate will be a very similar one.
Signing a striker is a must, and with Ashley Young leaving, signing full-back cover will also be required.
If Everton are to kick on under the Scotsman, they will need to recruit well this summer, and they will be afforded no margin for error when it comes to the decisions that they make within it.
