Napoli are said to be “preparing” an offer for Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 24-year-old has been on the radar of the Italian club for some time after impressing in the Garibaldi. It appears they are now planning to test the waters for the Reds ace as the summer window springs into life.
Manager Antonio Conte is said to be a fan of Hudson-Odoi and has the wide man at the top of his wish-list. The former Chelsea boss has reportedly given the seal of “approval” to the pursuit of a deal.

NapoliNetwork report the club are plotting an initial offer of €15 million (£12.6m) as they try to “convince” Forest to sell. There is no agreement with the player in place, but Napoli are keen to “understand the availability” of Hudson-Odoi.
The Reds are said to want at least €20m (£16.8m) for the ex-Blues man. Hudson-Odoi has just a year remaining on the three-year deal he signed when he made the switch to the City Ground from Stamford Bridge in 2023.
Napoli were first credited with an interest in Hudson-Odoi earlier this year. AC Milan and Roma were also said to be eyeing him up, while Manchester United were also linked.

Hudson-Odoi played a key role during the 2024/25 season as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secured European football for the first time in three decades. The Reds winger scored five goals in 36 appearances across all competitions, with decisive strikes in September’s 1-0 win away to Liverpool and March’s home win over Manchester City by the same scoreline.
Talks are said to have taken place regarding fresh terms for Hudson-Odoi. Forest are well aware that without a new deal in place, they would lose him on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.
