Stewart will play during the tea-time legends slot at the iconic festival later this month and is expecting a huge crowd.
The 80-year-old is one of many famous Celtic fans who always show their support for the Bhoys and is regularly spotted at Parkhead when he isn’t touring.
Ahead of his performance, the singer has made one request for any Celtic supporters heading to Worthy Farm.
Rod Stewart wants to see Celtic shirts at Glastonbury Festival
In preparation for the biggest festival in the UK calendar, Stewart spoke to the Scottish Sun and told them he hopes to see a sea of green and white in the crowd, and is encouraging everyone to wear Celtic shirts.
He said: “I think you will probably see more Celtic shirts than anything else.
“I would love to see some Celtic flags.”
His gigs and concerts are usually attended by several Celtic supporters with scarves and shirts being waved around in the stands during some of his songs.
Why does Rod Stewart support Celtic?
Despite being born in London in 1945, Stewart has been a lifelong Celtic fan thanks to his father Robert Stewart.
Robert was born in Scotland and a meeting with Hoops legend Jock Stein sealed the deal for the singer to commit his footballing life to the Glasgow giants.
His dad was actually a Rangers fan but Rod has ensured that his children were also fans of Celtic and have been ever since.
