Chelsea have offered SEVEN players as part of a stunning swap deal for a Premier League star as they try to beat Manchester United to the transfer.
Chelsea have already recruited ahead of the new season as they have added Liam Delap to their squad.
Delap has signed a six-year contract after the Blues met his £30 million release clause in his Ipswich Town deal that was activated following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
Chelsea saw off competition from Manchester United, who were also after the 22-year-old forward.
But the Red Devils missed out on signing Delap after failing to qualify for the Champions League, which would have happened if they had beaten Tottenham in last month’s Europa League final.
A new report now claims Chelsea and Man United are going head-to-head for another Premier League star this summer.

According to Graeme Bailey, Chelsea have offered West Ham United seven players in a swap deal for Mohammed Kudus.
Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a new winger, having passed up on signing Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal following his loan spell last season.
The Ghana international, who reportedly has an £85 million release clause, is believed to be high on Enzo Maresca’s transfer wish-list.
Maresca hopes to secure Kudus’ services by offering West Ham seven players, including Robert Sanchez and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Defenders Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi, not to mention midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka have also been offered in exchange.

Kudus, 24, has been at West Ham since the summer of 2023 following his £36 move from Ajax.
He enjoyed a stellar debut campaign with the Hammers, scoring 14 goals across all competitions.
Kudus wasn’t as prolific last season, weighing in with just five goals.
Despite his performances last season, Chelsea hope to snap him up ahead of participating at this month’s Club World Cup.
The West London outfit face Leon, Flamengo and ES Tunis in the group stage phase of the competition, which takes place in the United States.
