Morgan Rogers is already attracting attention from Premier League rivals such as Chelsea and Man City after his stunning season for Villa.
The England international notched 14 goals and 15 assists in 54 games across all competitions in the 2024-25 campaign.
Aston Villa’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Villa Park between 2016 and 2018 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed Rogers and a star teammate could be heading for the exit door.

Aston Villa squad set for ‘big blow’, says Wyness
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness suggested Youri Tielemans could also make way at Villa Park this summer.

The Belgium international midfielder has been widely linked with a potential Saudi Pro League switch.
Wyness claimed losing both players would have a “big impact” on the Aston Villa squad as they look to go again in the 2025-26 campaign.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Finishing sixth is a big issue.
“I think Champions League was a big part of the puzzle for them.
“It could mean they have to sell both Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers, and that’s the sort of blow which can have a big impact on the squad.
“Europa League football will mean around £30million for Villa, but that’s not enough.
“They are already sailing very close to the wind financially with PSR.”
Redmond is set to become Aston Villa’s first summer signing.

Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (30 May) that Feyenoord forward Zepiqueno Redmond will undergo a medical at Aston Villa early next week.
The 18-year-old has agreed a four-year deal with Villa and will join on a free transfer.
Emery and Monchi believe the Netherlands youth international can become as successful as Jhon Duran.
