‘We might win the league’… Leeds United fans can’t contain excitement after seeing next 49ers transfer ploy

Leeds United fans will be glad to see signings beginning to come to fruition this summer.

It seems Leeds are getting a step ahead of the other 19 Premier League teams with one transfer through the door already.

After Lukas Nmecha, it’s looking like Jaka Bijol will follow on an £18.7m deal, as the Udinese star makes for an astute piece of business.

This now begs the question, who’s next?

Well, another name being linked with a move to Elland Road has got fans very excited as the 49ers continue their master plan.

Leeds United fans can’t contain their excitement with Noah Sadiki

It’s come to the surface that Leeds have bid £8.5m for Noah Sadiki, as the Union Saint-Gilloise midfielder could be an option this summer.

The 20-year-old has seriously impressed in Belgium with USG after arriving from Anderlecht for £1.2m in 2023.

With the DR Congo international potentially looking for a step up, Daniel Farke’s side could be perfect, and Leeds fans certainly agree with the signing.

The Whites faithful have spoken on X about the possible transfer of the versatile midfielder, and Sadiki has glowing reviews.

@Furnthebigguy incredibly said: “We might win the league.”

@leeds_centre praised his versatility, saying: “HE CAN PLAY FULLBACK, CENTRE BACK, and DM and CM. Very versatile young talent.”

“A player that isn’t scared of going in for a tackle, exactly what we need,” @iiTzDavid95x claimed.

@americaninleeds analysed Sadiki, saying: “Box to box. Upgrade from (Joe) Rothwell. Not afraid to unbalance the opposition quickly.”

@Dannyrumsey2 said: “Yeah, he’s a good player.”

@ko_kiano compared Sadiki to target Habib Diarra: “Seems to be very good. Basically a touch worse version of Diarra.”

Leeds fans have every reason to be excited about versatile Sadiki

In the top flight, Farke will need players who can play in different positions and prove to be a reliable option.

That’s exactly what 20-year-old Sadiki can offer, and he showed his quality over in Belgium last campaign.

Standing at 5’5, he isn’t the most physical of players, but he’s nimble and a brilliant tackler, emphasising why he can play in a number of defensive positions.

Sadiki trumps Ilia Gruev when it comes to numbers, and Leeds can land a bargain with the multi-tasking midfielder.

This should definitely be a transfer that the 49ers explore more with Bijol, Nmecha, and Sadiki, making for an electric start to the window.
