Richarlison issues Tottenham message with Everton interested
This was Richarlison’s first call-up to the national side for a considerable period of time after his injury struggles in north London.
Richarlison thanked Ancelotti for the Brazil call-up ahead of what is going to be a huge season with the World Cup on the horizon.
Speaking to the media after the game, Richarlison admitted he now needs to return to his club and continue improving after a difficult two games for the national side.
‘I know how hard it is to wear this shirt. So, to get here, you have to be good. You have to bring life to the field,’ he said.
‘I don’t think I did well in the two games and I have to try to improve.
‘Now I need to return to the club and work hard to come back here and do my best again.’
Angus Kinnear has a good relationship with Daniel Levy, but it could be difficult to prise the forward away from the stage that the Champions League offers.
Richarlison needs regular first-team football if he is to play in the World Cup next year, and a move to Everton could offer him exactly that.

Richarlison needs to make a smart decision this summer
The Friedkins are keen to make a statement signing this summer ahead of the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Bringing Richarlison back to Merseyside is certainly something which could appeal to some of the fans at Everton.
There will be some concerned by his recent injury record since departing the Toffees for Spurs back in 2022.
But he has shown his quality having played a big role in the final which saw Tottenham end their trophy drought.
