Daniel Farke’s priority target now ‘tempted’ to sign for Tottenham instead of Leeds United
It came as a blow and a bit of a surprise last week when reports said Manor Solomon had informed Tottenham he wants a second chance at Spurs – rather than leave and join Leeds United permanently.
Solomon had dropped a number of hints that he would sign for Leeds after the Israeli winger scored the goal that secured the Championship title for Daniel Farke’s men. A total of 23 goals and assists last term.
Solomon suggested he would sign for Leeds if promoted. But Thomas Frank wants to take a look at him, and perhaps the lure of a fresh start under Frank and Champions League football has tempted Solomon.
Leeds will have to replace the loss of Solomon, with the winger’s decision leaving a big hole on the left flank and now, he could be joined by a striker high on Leeds’ agenda – one that Leeds have even bid for.

Manor Solomon and Rodrigo Muniz could become teammates
Last week, it emerged that Leeds had seen a £32m bid rejected for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz. The Brazilian powerhouse has been strongly linked with Leeds, with the Fulham ace expected to be leaving.
Give Me Sport now say that Muniz is ‘tempted’ to join Tottenham and Frank’s side are keen on luring the star to North London. Fulham want a huge £50m for Muniz, which explains Leeds’ bid being rejected.

Spurs have options up top and Dom Solanke would surely remain first choice if Muniz does join Spurs. But with Frank’s men in the Champions League, any second-choice striker would get plenty of minutes.
Which other strikers are Leeds supposedly interested in signing
There are several forwards on the Leeds radar. One is Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic, with Leeds said to be in advanced talks for Krstovic. But sources this side of the border suggest Krstovic is not a target for Leeds.

MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
It is claimed that Leeds have opened talks to sign Dom Calvert-Lewin with his Everton contract due to expire. Leeds have already signed Lukas Nmecha and currently have four strikers available to Farke.
However, immediately after the signing of Nmecha, reports said that Leeds would still be pursuing a starting striker and that Germany international Nmecha has only been brought in as competition up top.
