With all the news of potential Leeds United signings this summer, fans must know that the club will eventually make some sales. The first week of the transfer window hinted at that.
Leeds will have the resources, and a huge budget to improve the squad for the Premier League. Club chairman Paraag Marathe assured the fans that he would help them retain their top flight status. But spending must come with some sales due to PSR.
At the start of the transfer window, reports suggested that Illan Meslier and Max Wober among some other names will be available for sale this summer.
Leeds United star has a release clause

The young trio of Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi have also been put up for sale. Leeds are looking to make some profit off the three players.
Greenwood has attracted interest from Leicester City and Sunderland. Graeme Bailey has now made a shocking revelation that the forward has a release clause in his current deal:
“He has a release clause of about £1.5m, but I don’t think it’ll be needed. I don’t see him at Leicester at all to be honest. He had a very middling season at Preston and I’d be amazed if one of the top Championship clubs took him.” he said to EFL Analysis.
“I’d be very shocked if one of the major promotion contenders took him. One of the relegated teams [from the Premier League] especially. There’s a reason he was at Preston last season. He proved that was just about his level, playing for a relegation contender. I don’t think he goes from being OK at Preston to playing for Leicester. I’d be pretty staggered.”
Sam Greenwood’s loan could benefit Leeds
Greenwood spent last season on loan at Preston, and his time there was decent. It showed that he can play at the Championship level and be a solid contributor.

Five goals and three assists ranked him the third highest for Preston in the league. His campaign has probably alerted other Championship clubs that he could be worth the fee. Leeds could also earn some profit from this.
