Leeds United have tried already with a bid to sign Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz this summer, but the Cottagers are not in any mood to let him go.
Joel Piroe helped shoot Leeds to the Premier League with 19 goals, seven assists and the Championship golden boot, but he isn’t likely to be the man that leads the line for most of next season.
That’s because Leeds have already made their feelings clear on signing a new striker, lodging a bid for a Premier League rival.

Leeds’ opening bid for Rodrigo Muniz was reported at £26million plus a further £6million in add-ons, which was rejected by Fulham.
Muniz is contracted at Craven Cottage for a further 12 months, but his club hold the option of extending by a further year, and seemingly have no intention on selling at such a price.
The latest comes from Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas, who reports that Leeds’ new division rivals are insisting that the Brazilian is not for sale whatsoever this summer.
Marco Silva maintains that the 24-year-old is a firm part of his plans up front alongside Raul Jimenez, who also enters the final year of his contract next week.
Fulham, meanwhile, have been considering a move to add another striker to their ranks, in the form of PSV forward Ricardo Pepi, suggesting a change in the pecking order up front.

It’s going to take an almighty bid for Leeds to stand any chance of Fulham considering selling Muniz this summer, and will we be willing to go much higher?
He’d be an outstanding signing and a real statement of intent from the 49ers to stay in the Premier League, but that’s because he’s a very valuable asset to Fulham themselves.
They are going to need convincing that this sale is worth their time, and that might only come if we approach the £40million mark.
