Tottenham Hotspur have reignited their interest in Chelsea full-back Joshua Acheampong, but there have been some contradictory claims made on whether the Blues are willing to sell the teenager.
Based on reports over recent weeks, it appears that Thomas Frank wants to add another right-back to his squad, which is a little puzzling when one considers that Tottenham have Pedro Porro, Djed Spence and Archie Gray in their squad.
It has been reported that Spurs have signalled an interest in Monaco’s Vanderson while several sources over the last few days have claimed that Tottenham have spoken to Kyle Walker-Peters about a return to the club.
A year ago, it first emerged that Tottenham were plotting a move for Joshua Acheampong but the Blues decided to keep hold of the youngster last summer.

The 19-year-old struggled to get game time last season outside the UEFA Conference League and The Independent have now claimed that the youngster wants to leave Stamford Bridge in search of regular first-team football.
The report says that Tottenham Hotspur have been watching Acheampong for a long time and have now signalled their interest in him again this summer, as have Newcastle.
However, the report seems to suggest that Borussia Dortmund are currently leading the race to land the right-back, with the Bundesliga club now having escalated their move for the defender.
There is a sense at Chelsea that Inter Milan may also join in the race for Acheampong, who the West London club are allegedly willing to sell for £35m.
Journalist rules out Acheampong exit in contrasting report
The Independent go on to explain that Chelsea would ideally like to loan out their academy graduate, but it is suggested that they could be persuaded to sell amidst their PSR considerations.
However, this claim has been rubbished by The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill who is convinced that Enzo Maresca’s men will hold onto Acheampong this summer.
While the journalist confirms that the teenager is attracting interest from several clubs, he adds that Chelsea considers him a potential future star.
