Harry Kane’s Claims, Agrees with Mourinho

Harry Kane speaks about his former Spurs teammate Heung-min Son and makes an interesting claim about Jose Mourinho’s role in the striker partnership they forged together at Tottenham.
There is no doubt that many decades from now, people will look at Kane and Son pairing as one of the most famous partnerships in the history of the Premier League.
The Tottenham duo clinched the record for most goal combinations in the competition’s history, combining for 47 goals, 11 higher than the former Chelsea duo, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, in second place.

The South Korean star has certainly felt the impact of the England captain’s departure 18 months ago, with his goal numbers dropping as a result of not having his partner spraying world-class through balls for him to run onto.

Harry Kane has now lavished praise on his former Spurs teammate, insisting that he does not get the recognition he deserves.

The Bayern man also gave credit to former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho for unlocking the pair’s potential as a partnership, admitting that he forged a ‘telepathic connection’ with his former teammate.

Kane told L’Equipe: “I got on incredibly well with Heung-min Son. I also think he’s one of the most underrated players in the top leagues. We’ve always had a very good technical relationship. But it took on another dimension when José Mourinho came to Spurs. Before, the roles were more established, I was number 9, Sonny was on the left.
