Alan Myers believes Everton would have to have a replacement for Armando Broja or Jack Harrison lined up if they were to terminate either of their loan deals before the deadline closes.
The duo were brought in during the summer transfer window in order to bolster the Toffees’ ranks but neither have really had much of an impact on the way things have gone with the Merseyside outfit’s season.
Broja has spent most of the time sidelined, whereas Harrison has been nowhere near the level required to be a regular starter.
Amid the recent rumours of the duo having their loans terminated early, Sky Sports journalist Myers shared his thoughts via X (3 February) on where the future of both players lies.
“I think Broja will stay here, he could be back sooner than first thought, not heard anything on Harrison to be honest,” he wrote.
“I don’t see anyone going without a replacement to be fair.”

Since taking over from Sean Dyche, David Moyes has managed to turn things around at Everton but it feels like the honeymoon period at Goodison Park could soon be over.
While the Scotsman might have got the best out of his team from his first few games as their boss, it feels like they’re going to need more than just Carlos Alcaraz in order to keep competitive.
At the moment, the former Southampton man’s deal isn’t officially confirmed but with all the noise about the move, it now feels like it’s a matter of when, not if.
And, even though his addition will no doubt help things in an attacking sense at Everton, the Argentine isn’t levels above everyone else in the Toffees’ squad and won’t be able to single-handedly carry them to victories.
So, that’s why before the deadline hits on 3 February, Moyes should look at adding at least one more player alongside the Flamengo ace to their ranks.
