Everton have staged a number of fan favourites over the years and none more so than former striker Duncan Ferguson.
Duncan Ferguson enjoyed two prolific spells at Everton, netting 72 goals across 270 outings, and is widely regarded as one of the club’s greatest strikers in recent history.
After hanging up his boots, the towering frontman pursued a career in coaching and had been part of the first-team staff at Finch Farm until 2022.
Ferguson mostly recently managed Scottish outfit Inverness CT, though, he left that position last October.
The Everton legend was recently spotted in the stands at a Welsh Premier League game hosted by Flint Town United.
And he’s since gone viral for what he was filmed doing.

Duncan Ferguson goes viral for drink mishap
During Flint Town United’s Cymru Premier League clash, Fergurson was captured taking just one sip of his drink before hilariously chucking it away, clearly in disgust at the taste.
Flint Town’s social media team were quick to post the clip on X (formerly known as Twitter) and apologised for the poor brew.
The Welsh club assured him of a better tea on his next visit to North Wales in a post that has since gone viral.

The Welsh club later joked that they’re looking for new kitchen volunteers after the Ferguson mishap.
The job poster encouraged applicants to ensure their tea-making skills would be up to standard for the former Everton man.
Ferguson is yet to comment on the viral footage but one would imagine he’s seen the funny side to it, even if his taste buds weren’t satisfied that day.
A truly bizarre few days in his sabbatical from management.
