Everton currently have a number of players unavailable, including striker Armando Broja.
The Albania international was forced off in Everton’s FA Cup game with Peterborough United on the day Sean Dyche left the club.
Armando Broja damaged ankle ligaments, which was a huge blow for the player after he missed most of the season up to that point with an Achilles injury.
There was then strong speculation that Everton were looking to send Broja back to Chelsea to free up a loan spot for a new signing in January
But Everton ended up keeping Broja.
On transfer deadline day, it was then reported Broja could be back for Everton in around four to five weeks, with his recovery having gone well.
And now, a fresh update has emerged regarding a possible return game for the striker.

It has now been reported by Albanian publication Ekspres Sport that Broja is potentially set to make his return to action next month – with a specific game being mentioned.
They say that the Albanian national team doctor, Dr. Ilvi Begolli, has told Procesi Sportiv that Broja is being targeted for a return in the World Cup qualifying game against England on March 7.
The doctor apparently stressed that the player will be ready.

One journalist who works for Ekspres Sport, Klaudio Ndreca, shared one brief quote from the doctor on X: “Armando Broja will return on March 7th, that’s when it’s expected.”
Albania also take on Andorra a few days after that game with England.
It’s unclear how much involvement he’ll have, but he is surely unlikely to feature too heavily given his lay-off.

Broja involvement for Albania could be a positive for Everton
So it might be that Broja returns to match action for country before club – and that is not such a bad thing for Everton.
If he can get a handful of minutes during the next international break for Albania, then this could help bring him up to speed ahead of Everton’s Premier League run-in.
Thankfully, Everton are in a pretty healthy position at the moment and Beto has been firing the goals in during Broja’s and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s absences.

There is no need to rush him back, but it would still be good to have him back in the picture as soon as possible.

f work to do to convince Everton to take up their option.
