Anthony Martial is one of just two players on this list who Ferguson never managed.
The France international immediately hit the ground running after a £36m move from AS Monaco in September 2015 with a goal on his debut against Liverpool at Old Trafford, and went on to net 63 goals in 209 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.

Eric Cantona – who recently praised Bukayo Saka – scored a goal every 197 minutes in the Premier League for Manchester United following a £1m move from Leeds United in 1992.
The Frenchman bagged 64 goals in 143 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, winning five Premier League titles during his time at Old Trafford.

The England international – who is currently on loan at Aston Villa – boasts 87 goals in 287 Premier League appearances for Manchester United.
However, Manchester United could lose Rashford this summer for good, as the Villans negotiated a £40m option to buy.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The man from Funchal netted 103 goals in 236 Premier League appearances for Manchester United across two separate spells at Old Trafford – winning the Premier League Golden Boot award in 2007/08 with 31 strikes.

It is a surprise to see a central midfielder sitting above Ronaldo in this list – but that just goes to show how prolific Paul Scholes really was.

After arriving in a £27m move from Everton back in August 2004, the Englishman went on to score 183 goals in 393 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils – securing himself five Premier League titles.
