Tottenham to face bidding war of signing Lamine – Agent

A football agent from Senegal has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur could soon be joined in the race for a Ligue 1 midfielder by many of their Premier League rivals.

Spurs already have a talented young Senegalese midfielder in their ranks in Pape Sarr, but the North London club are now looking to sign another budding young midfield talent from the West African nation.

The player in question is AS Monaco’s Lamine Camara, whose reputation has blossomed since his move to the club last summer.

The 21-year-old, who has already been capped 23 times for his country, is very highly thought of by talent spotters and it emerged a few days ago that both Tottenham and Liverpool were eyeing a summer move for Lamine Camara.

Football agent Bassirou Sakho has now been speaking with Africa Foot regarding the speculation over the Monaco man.

Sakho is convinced that it is only a matter of time before the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City enter the race for the young defensive midfielder.

When asked about the reports in the British press about the interest in Lamine Camara, the agent told the outlet: “In fact, the article mentions that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, among the Premier League clubs, are keen to recruit Senegal’s best prospect since Sadio Mane.

“If these two clubs show an interest, the other giants of English football, such as Manchester City and Chelsea, who will be making a big splash in the next mercato, could be interested in Lamine Camara’s services. And that would be a good thing for the young Senegalese prospect.”
