Richarlison’s fitness woes have prevented the Brazilian from getting a consistent run in the side, especially this season, and it looks like the 27-year-old’s time at N17 may be about to end soon.
Reports over recent weeks have suggested that Tottenham are ready to cut their losses on Richarlison, and a fresh update has now discussed the forward’s potential options ahead of the summer.
Richarlison could swap Tottenham for Saudi Arabia
Some sources have suggested over recent weeks that Brazilian clubs are unlikely to be able to afford Richarlison, thus making a return to his home country difficult for the Tottenham Hotspur man.
This has now been backed up by journalist Jorge Nicola, who suggests that a move to Saudi Arabia could be on the cards for the former Everton man this summer.
Nicola said about Richarlison (via Bolavip Brasil): “Unable to play due to a series of injuries at Tottenham and ruling out returning to Brazil, Richarlison is more likely to move to Saudi Arabia. Two clubs have already signalled with big offers for the middle of the year.”
The journalist also suggested that the forward could potentially double his salary if he makes the move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, while Brazilian clubs such as Flamengo cannot even match the salary he earns in North London.
Is a Premier League stay on the cards for Richarlison?
One also cannot rule out the prospect of the 27-year-old staying put in the Premier League this summer.
It was reported last month that Everton are plotting a move to re-sign Richarlison from Spurs ahead of their move to the new stadium next season.
A return to Merseyside could appeal to the Tottenham man, who is thought to have maintained a good relationship with his former club.
