Jurgen Klopp ‘Agrees’ to Stunning Return to Management
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could be set for a shock return to management with a club that hasn’t won a league title in close to a quarter of a century. The German is currently working as the Global Head of Football at Red Bull, but reports emerged in April that he was unhappy in his new role and was seeking an early exit and a return to the sidelines.
He was briefly linked as Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement at Real Madrid before Xabi Alonso was named as the Italian’s successor. However, fans may not have to wait long to see the Premier League and Champions League winner on our screens, with recent updates suggesting that he has already agreed to make his next move.

Klopp ‘Agrees’ to Become Roma Manager
The Italian giants are currently being lead by Claudio Ranieri
According to a story from Optus Sport, several outlets in Italy are reporting that Klopp is set to become the next AS Roma manager at the end of the season, with La Stampa claiming that an agreement has already been reached between the coach and the owners — the Friedkin Group — the same cohort that owns Everton.
The Serie A outfit, once home to icons such as Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi, made a poor start to the season and sacked manager Ivan Juric after just 12 games in charge back in November. He was replaced by Claudio Ranieri, who came out of retirement to take charge of his third stint at the club.
The man responsible for Leicester City’s incredible Premier League title win has worked similar miracles during his interim spell in the Italian capital, losing just seven times in 35 games — a run that also included a 21-game unbeaten streak in the league, leaving them just one point outside of a Champions League spot heading into the final match. As a result, Ranieri was given an incredible ovation during his final game at the Stadio Olimpico, in which Roma claimed a 3-1 win over AC Milan.
It has also been claimed that should Klopp take the Roma job, Ranieri may stay on board in another capacity and take up an advisory role at the club, as a result of the legendary status he has earned across his different spells at his local club.
La Stampa claimed that the decision to hire Klopp was actually made some time ago, but that the former Borussia Dortmund manager only gave his blessing on Sunday. Should he be appointed, he will follow in the footsteps of Jose Mourinho and Luis Enrique, who both failed to secure Roma their elusive Scudetto.
