Tottenham Hotspur are willing to loan out one of their academy starlets for the upcoming season after he turned a lot of heads in the EFL last term.
While most Spurs fans were preoccupied with how impressive the likes of Jamie Donley and Luka Vuskovic did out on loan last season, another Tottenham teenager had just as impressive a season.
George Abbott won many admirers in his first taste of senior football at Notts County, with the 19-year-old’s consistent displays at the base of the side’s midfield being crucial to their promotion push.
Abbott was being nominated for the League Two Player of the Year award while the Spurs academy graduate won the EFL Goal of the Season Award for his fine strike against Accrington Stanley back in January.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has now revealed that the midfielder will be allowed to leave on loan again this season to get regular football under his belt.
However, that is only if a suitable bid arrives from a club which Spurs deem to be the right fit for the 19-year-old.
Despite Tottenham’s plans for Abbott, Gold adds that if the youngster is involved in first-team training this summer, one should not bet against the midfielder catching Thoms Frank’s eye following an impressive season at Notts County

While Spurs are seemingly open to sending Abbott out on loan again, that is not the case with three of the club’s other young starlets.
It has been reported that Thomas Frank wants to assess Luka Vuskovic in pre-season while some sources indicate that the Spurs boss has also asked the club to reject loan offers for Ashley Phillips.
Some sources have indicated that Jamie Donley could also be part of Tottenham’s first-team plans next season on the back of his brilliant campaign at Leyton Orient.
