Sean Dyche has seen his side deliver a very impressive month of December, with Everton unbeaten since December 2nd and have only conceded one goal.
Everything seemed doom and gloom after losing 4-0 to Manchester United, but things have turned around and now the Toffees are in a promising position.
However, there is still the slight risk of relegation, as Wolves have picked things up, whilst Ipswich aren’t too far behind as we head into January.
One topic that’s already rife ahead of January is Jarrad Branthwaite‘s future, as the defender is wanted by pretty much the whole of the Premier League it seems.
The Friedkin Group set their price tag for Jarrad Branthwaite
It had been claimed during Farhad Moshiri’s reign that a price tag of at least £58m had been set for Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton.
However, things look to have changed since the Friedkin Group have arrived
According to Daily Mail, Everton have set a price tag of around £75 million for the defender, which would almost make him the most expensive defender in world football.
This is much more like it in comparison to the £58 million, as he’s the prized asset after all.
Keeping Jarrad Branthwaite in January is vital
Of course, £75 million would be great, but losing the Englishman could prove even more costly.
Everton can no doubt attract the same fee in the summer if they do decide they want to cash in on him, so there’s no point in risking a second half of the season without him.
There’s even a chance he pens a new deal at Everton with the new stadium and a potential new manager to come at the end of the season.
Things are on the up at Goodison Park, which certainly seems to be having a positive affect on the defender’s plans at this moment in time.
