Yang Min-hyuk reveals what Spurs have told him to do before coming

Tottenham’s injury list growing

While Spurs‘ injury situation at the moment is nowhere near as bad as it was this time last season, it is now growing, which will be a concern for Ange Postecoglou.

The long-term absentees, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison, have now been joined by Guglielmo Vicario, who underwent surgery this week after suffering a fracture on his ankle.

Meanwhile, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven remain out of action, although Postecolgou might hope to have the Argentine back in time for the clash against Bournemouth next weekend.

“At the beginning of the season, I was thinking, ‘When will it be over?’ But it’s gone by so fast. It’s just the beginning, so it’s going to fly by. I’m looking forward to working harder and establishing myself quickly.”

Yang desperate to succeed in the PL

Yang admitted that he is doing all the preparations needed to give himself the best chance of succeeding in England, with the youngster confessing that he does not want to end up back in the K-League quickly.

He added: “I join the team in the middle of the season, so my main focus is to recover my body. I’m also studying English hard, and I haven’t been in touch with [Son] Heung Min yet, but I’ll have to ask him a lot of questions. I’m also planning to ask [Yang] Hyun Joon for advice on adjusting to life in England.

“My first goal is to survive in the Premier Leaguefor a long time. I would be ashamed of myself if I came back to the K League quickly. I plan to improve my physical condition as much as possible and work hard to adapt to the team.”
