Everton are going to need to get a move on in the January transfer window with time running out.
The Toffees showed some promising signs on the weekend in their win over Tottenham Hotspur.
But it is now time for Everton to push on both on and off the pitch.
David Moyes is keen to see signings made at Everton before the end of the window to bolster his squad.
There has not been a great deal of business done in this January window by Premier League sides, but Everton cannot afford to stand still.
Moyes’ side have shown signs of improvement since the 60-year-old was appointed but fresh faces are still going to be needed in the long run.

Everton target Juma Bah demands Real Valladolid exit
One player Everton have shown interest in is Juma Bah of Real Valladolid this month with the young defender attracting many sides.
And there has now been a major twist regarding his future.
On Wednesday, the Spanish club shared a press release stating the player has failed to attend training and is demanding his contract to be terminated.
There is plenty to unpack in this transfer saga with Manchester City close to signing Bah amid the interest from the Premier League.
However, City are now been accused of tapping up the player as the Spanish side threaten with Premier League champions with legal action.
Everton could be keen to add a new defender after also being linked with a move for youngster Pietro Comuzzo.
But the saga involving Bah looks like it could now have taken a real twist with a lot needing to be resolved before the end of the window.

Everton could have been handed Juma Bah boost
Despite it looking as if City had won the race to sign the 18-year-old talent, these latest developments may have put a spanner in the works.
The player is clearly pinning his hopes on a move to the Premier League this month, but a move to City may have been complicated by the threat of legal action.
Everton could lose Michael Keane this month which may well increase the demand for a new centre-back at Goodison Park.
Bah has been hailed as a ‘rising star’ at the age of just 18.
However, this development does now raise the question whether Moyes would like a player capable of this on Merseyside.
