Aston Villa’s Post Minutes After Beating Man City Has Immediately Gone Viral

Aston Villa’s social media post minutes after they defeated Manchester City 1-0 at Villa Park has gone viral.
Unai Emery’s side secured a crucial Premier League victory through Matty Cash’s first-half strike.
The Poland international received the ball on the edge of the area from a short corner, before turning and firing the ball low beyond Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Villa are now up to eighth in the Premier League table, with Cash’s second goal of the season drawing him level as their top scorer alongside Emiliano Buendia and Donyell Malen.

It is remarkably the first time in 14 matches for club or country that City star Erling Haaland – who already has 11 Premier League goals this season – has not found the net.
And Villa’s social media account appeared to aim a dig at the Norwegian with their first post-match tweet.
They wrote: “Good job Matty Cash had his raw milk and tomahawk steak for breakfast this morning.”

In a YouTube video detailing his daily routine, Haaland revealed that he likes to drink raw milk and eat steak before matches, and buys the two products at a local farm shop in Manchester.
The video, which was posted on Thursday, was the first published to the Norwegian’s official channel, which has already racked up over 500,000 subscribers.

The defeat to Villa ends City’s nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions, though they remain ahead of rivals Manchester United on goal difference.

Arsenal are now four points clear at the top of the table after their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium, ahead of second-placed Bournemouth.
Andoni Iraola’s side continued their fine run of form with a 2-0 victory at home to Nottingham Forest, while third-placed Sunderland defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday through Chemsdine Talbi’s stoppage-time winner in the second half.

Man United’s post immediately after beating Arsenal has gone viral
Fans can’t believe what Manchester United posted after the win.
Manchester United’s official reaction to their huge win over Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cu has gone viral immediately after the match.
On Sunday afternoon, United took the first step in defending the FA Cup with a massive win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite going down to 10 men after United defender Diogo Dalot was shown a second yellow card, the visitors held on to a 1-1 draw through both normal and extra time and won the match 5-4 in a penalty shootout.

Immediately after the game, the official United account posted their reaction to the win, and fans cannot believe it.
Throughout the match several United fans criticised referee Andrew Madley for how he officiated the match, and it appears that the club’s official account agrees.
Posting on social media platform X immediately after the victory, the official United account wrote: “Justice.”

Reacting to the post, one United fan wrote: “Nicely put. One word. Justice. We deserved that.”
While another wrote: “The United admin really gave us this generational tweet.”
And one excited fan added: “What a game and what a team , now I’m actually scared of what this coach might do, he is a very tough man to beat. I think Man United are BACK!”
Manchester United second keeper Altay Bayindir was the hero for the visitors in the match, stopping Arsenal from taking the lead after saving a Martin Odegaard penalty during normal time.

The Turkish goalkeeper then cemented himself as the player of the match as he produced an incredible save during the penalty shootout, denying Arsenal striker Kai Havertz and sealing the victory for United.
Arsenal fans will be massively disappointed with the result is it marks the second consecutive loss in the cup competition following their 2-0 loss to Newcastle United in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Meanwhile for United fans, they can look forward to a reunion with former striker and interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy as the draw for the FA Cup fourth round handed them a clash with Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Man Utd ‘Concerned’ With Jadon Sancho Situation at Aston Villa
The Manchester United winger joined Premier League rivals Aston Villa at the start of the season.
Manchester United are reportedly unhappy with home Jadon Sancho has performed at Aston Villa.
Four years after his £73million move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, former England international Sancho has found himself in a difficult situation.
After falling out of favour with several managers at Old Trafford, Sancho has failed to find a consistent place in the United squad since his arrival.

This has led to him spending much of his recent time on loan with several clubs, with his most recent move being to join fellow Premier League side Aston Villa on a season-long loan.
But things don’t seem to have worked out for the 25-year-old at Villa Park, leading to concerns within Manchester United about his future.

When United agreed to let Sancho join Villa for the season, the club likely would have hoped that his spell would be similar to that of fellow outcast forward Marcus Rashford.

Having also fallen out of favour with Ruben Amorim, Rashford joined Villa on a short-term loan for the second-half of the 2024/25 season, impressing during his spell.
Off the back of the loan with Villa, Rashford secured a season-long loan to current club Barcelona, with the La Liga giants reserving an option to buy on a permanent basis for £30.3million at the end of the season.
Since making the move to Barcelona, Rashford has continued to impress, leading to reports that the Spanish club are hoping that they can reach a new agreement with United that will allow them to make the move permanent in January.
And it is exactly this that United likely viewed as the ideal outcome with Sancho, ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the current season.

In an ideal world, Sancho would have proved himself to be so invaluable to Villa that they would have been willing to offer United a small fee in January in order to ensure that he wouldn’t sign for a new club as a free agent in the summer.

Speaking about the situation transfer insider Graeme Bailey told United In Focus: “There is concern at United about Sancho’s situation.
“It’s not that they were hoping a return to form would signal a return to Old Trafford, far from it, but the chances of getting any money back for a player that cost over £70million are looking as slim as they ever have.

“In ideal world Sancho would have featured constantly and impressed and United would have a decision to make about whether to take up his option and possibly sell him, or even sell him in January.
“Sancho could clearly return to form and the hope within United is that he does so they might have a decision to make.
“They will continue to monitor the situation but hopes are not high.”
So far at Villa, Sancho has made just one in Premier League appearance, an eight-minute cameo as a substitute, with a total of three appearances in all competitions at the time of writing.
