Sources share big Lucas Paqueta update ahead of West Ham clash amid Everton interest
Everton are refusing to lie down in the final days of this summer’s transfer market.
Considerable investment has been made by The Friedkin Group in their opening summer as the owners at Everton.
The clock may well be ticking down on David Moyes and his recruitment staff, but there are a number of additions that could still land on Merseyside.
Everton remain interested in signing a new midfielder, and potentially another right-back, with departures in both positions being lined up.
At this stage of the window, it is believed that Moyes wants players with Premier League experience.
A late move for Lucas Paqueta is reportedly on Everton’s agenda, with the 62-year-old eyeing a possible reunion with his former player.

Everton target Lucas Paqueta set to miss West Ham game
Moyes would be keen to bring Paqueta to Everton, but it is not a deal that would come cheap for the Toffees.
One report has claimed West Ham would not accept anything less than £50m, with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa both keen.
According to The Athletic, there is now an expectation that Paqueta will not be included in West Ham’s squad to play on Sunday.

Despite scoring a stunning effort against Chelsea last weekend, the Brazilian has requested not to feature for the Hammers against Nottingham Forest.
Villa are said to be in talks over a potential deal, with West Ham recently turning down an offer from Spurs.
Everton are also eyeing Yves Bissouma, who also missed Tottenham Hotspur’s latest game on Saturday against AFC Bournemouth.
Given Moyes wants a player with Premier League experience, it is likely going to be a case of being alert to any late opportunities to present themselves.

Everton face strong Premier League competition for Paqueta
It has been the story of Everton’s summer, but the Blues will be up against it if they hope to land a late deal for the midfielder.
However, Everton have enjoyed some success earlier in the window.
Everton beat Tottenham to signing Jack Grealish, with the Manchester City forward trusting Moyes’ project.
The 62-year-old Everton boss will provide the Toffees with an increased hope of landing Paqueta due to their past relationship.
Unfortunately for Everton, they are finding themselves coming up against two sides who will be able to offer Paqueta with European football.
There may not be too many Everton fans expecting to see the midfielder land at Finch Farm, but the club’s interest has been shared.
