Embarrassed David Moyes admits there’s something he’s really not happy about at Everton

Everton’s defeat on Wednesday night was not the start to David Moyes’ tenure which he would’ve hoped for.
It may only have been a narrow 1-0 defeat for Everton but it highlighted their ongoing issues in front of goal.

Moyes took aim at Farhad Moshiri after the game, suggesting the club are suffering due to the financial issues which he imposed on them.
The 60-year-old has admitted he is not a magician, having seen the issues which he needs to resolve after his first 90 minutes.
But Moyes has now admitted there is something which has embarrassed him about what he has seen from Everton.

The Toffees may feel aggrieved after referee Sam Barrott made an apparent error in Everton’s loss to Aston Villa.
But there are clear flaws in Everton’s game that need to be ironed out under Moyes.
However, speaking after the game, Moyes admitted he is embarrassed to see the club in the position which they are in today.
“I’m really proud to be back at the club and privileged to be back at the club. But, a little bit embarrassed we’re in a situation I don’t want us to be in,” he said.
“I hope we get opportunities to enjoy each other over the coming years, but I’m keeping my head down after coming in and trying to get the job done and give the supporters something they’re more used to.”
Ahead of the game, Moyes shared his love for the Everton fans who will be feeling his pain after what they saw on Wednesday night.
But there is little time for Everton to dwell on the defeat with their next Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur coming up on Sunday.

The Toffees need to start turning some results into three points having only won three games in the Premier League all season.
Everton fans slammed Dominic Calvert-Lewin for his display on Wednesday night against Villa, as his struggles continued.
With just 15 goals in 20 league games, it is clear where Everton need to improve.
And on Sunday, they will be coming up against a Spurs side who have become notorious for failing to keep clean sheets.
Everton could end this weekend in the bottom three if results do not go there way and that has to be a huge wake up call for the players ahead of the Spurs clash.
