Everton have finalised their move to sign Carlos Alcaraz, according to Chris Beesley.
The Liverpool Echo journalist appeared to confirm the loan deal on deadline day, with the Blues now deciding when to announce it on 3 February.
The Toffees have agreed upon a loan move until the end of the season with Flamengo, with an option to buy and break clauses already included.
Beesley wrote: “I’ve been told that Charly Alcaraz’s move to Everton is done.”
Everton complete Carlos Alcaraz transfer
It feels great to get a deal over the line hours before the deadline on the final day of the window.
Evertonians will know the feeling of waiting by the TV or radio with just minutes to spare until the window slams shut, but that looks to have been avoided this time around.
Alcaraz is a rogue signing given his move to Brazil last year, but he does have limited Premier League experience and will want to prove his doubters wrong after his spell with Southampton.
I’ve been told that Charly Alcaraz’s move to Everton is done. I understand it’s just a case of when the Blues choose to make their official announcement now.https://t.co/qLXjBbJBKl

David Moyes has moved quickly to strengthen his side in the final days of this window, but after three consecutive Premier League wins and a new takeover, who wouldn’t want to join?
The general feeling around Goodison Park right now is amazing, and with a new era quickly approaching at Bramley Moore Dock, the new signings pitch is easy for Kevin Thelwell.
Let’s get this one announced as soon as possible and move on to even more potential new signings.
