Everton could yet make another late loan signing after agreeing a deal for Carlos Alcaraz, according to Alan Myers.
The Toffees are looking to complete a late move ahead of the close of the January transfer window, and another loan signing could be on the cards after that.
Everton have reached an agreement for Alcaraz from Flamengo [BBC Sport], the deal contains a mandatory purchase clause according to the Brazilian club.
Myers revealed in a post on X, that the Alcaraz deal should be confirmed soon, and that a loan could still happen with a few hours to go in the transfer window.

Alcaraz may not be the only signing that the Toffees make, according to Myers, who revealed in a follow-up post, that Everton do still have space for a foreign loan despite having their two domestic slots filled by Jack Harrison and Armando Broja.

Bringing David Moyes back to Goodison Park has been an inspired decision by the Friedkin Group.
In the four Premier League games that the former Man United manager has been in charge of, the Toffees have won three, and lost only one, a narrow 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
In that four game stretch, Everton scored eight times, having only netted 15 goals in the previous 19 games under Sean Dyche.
However, there are still areas of major weakness for Moyes’ side, with right-wingers, Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom failing to impress.
Everton have attempted to remedy the issue with moves for West Brom’s Tom Fellows, and Lyon’s Ernest Nuamah, but neither deal has come through.
Despite a wonderful start to his second tenure as Everton manager, the team is still largely the same as the one that has found themselves in a relegation battle for the previous three seasons.
It is now on the Friedkin Group to make the most of the last few hours of the winter transfer period and support Moyes in maintaining Everton’s status as a Premier League side.
