Branthwaite won’t be sold by the Toffees in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reports (17 February) that the Merseyside outfit aren’t under any pressure to cash in on the 22-year-old as most of their financial issues have subsided under The Friedkin Group.
Instead of selling the centre-back, the Blues intend to offer him a new contract and make the defender one of the most important figures in the team.
The Englishman’s current deal at Everton runs until the summer of 2027.
