Jamie Redknapp responds to Everton challenge claim
Earlier in the season, Everton welcomed Micah Richards and Tony Bellow to Goodison to take part in a goalkeeper challenge against Toffees legend Yakubu.
The footage was only aired on Sky on 19 February but led to a very interesting story from A League of Their Own presenter Romesh Ranganathan about Everton.
Ranganathan said: “I can actually tell you Jamie [Redknapp], this is genuinely the truth. We asked Everton what they think about Jamie taking part in the challenge, and they replied, if he was taking part, the challenge would not happen.”
To which Redknapp responded with a laugh: “No way.”

Everton have focus on Man United clash
While seeing Redknapp partake in a challenge with Yakubu could have provided prime entertainment, the same will be said about Everton’s encounter with Manchester United.
Almost every year side from the current one, The Toffees would be underdogs heading into a game against the Red Devils but things are very different this time round.
Everton could move four points clear of Ruben Amorim’s side with a win, who appear to have had next to no new manager bounce, unlike the Merseysiders.
Since the appointment of Moyes, things have been looking incredibly bright for the Toffees and that optimism is only going to grow further if victory can be achieved.
