Djed Spence shared a cryptic message on social media as he continues to earn the trust of Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou.
With Tottenham out of the FA Cup after their defeat to Aston Villa, the team will have a break this weekend before preparing for their Europa League tie against AZ Alkmaar on 6 March.

Spence didn’t start in the team’s last Premier League match against Man City but was brought on later, playing at left-back as the game slipped away from Spurs.
After the match, Spence sent a warning aimed at Jeremy Doku, in a humorous way, who played on the opposite flank. Though the two didn’t face off directly, it was clear Spence was in a joking mood.
Despite not starting, Spence has impressed Tottenham fans in recent weeks, having worked his way back into Postecoglou’s plans and the defender has quickly become a fan favourite again.

The full-back made the cut as the standout left-back and acknowledged the recognition by reposting the lineup on his Instagram story, simply captioning it with an ellipsis.
Spence had already sent a bold message to Tottenham fans after their win against Ipswich on 22 February, stating he was “coming for everything.” His resurgence in the squad now reflects those words, as he finished the month as the league’s highest-rated left-back.

Ange Postecoglou urged to back Djed Spence despite mounting pressure
Earlier in the season, Spence’s future at Tottenham was in doubt after being left out of the club’s Europa League squad.
However, he has since fought his way back into contention, proving to be a valuable asset with his versatility across both full-back positions.

Postecoglou has faced increasing pressure from Tottenham fans this season, with the team currently sitting in 13th place in the Premier League.
Despite this, the club has backed the Australian manager, particularly given the ongoing injury crisis in North London.
It could also be argued that Spence’s return to the fold has been influenced by those injuries, but he has certainly taken full advantage of the opportunity as he looks to cement his place in the team.
