Alcaraz has hit the ground running, as Evertonians have seemingly found a new fan favourite.
This became apparent when Alcaraz got his first Everton chant, with Kevin Thelwell’s decision to sign him proving to be a massive hit.
You can see how much it means to the 22-year-old to receive this praise, and the Everton midfielder looks like he will give everything under Moyes.
Alcaraz wants to stay at Everton and hopes to replicate the legacy of two former Toffees players.
Carlos Alcaraz makes a promise to David Moyes and Everton
Moyes’ first signing on his return looks to be a memorable one as Alcaraz certainly has the chance to list himself amongst the greats at the Merseyside club.
Alcaraz called Everton fans ‘crazy’ as Goodison Park might remind the midfielder of fans from home, with the hostile Argentine football atmosphere.
The midfielder spoke on how his culture helps him to play, as his passion is a big factor.
Speaking to Everton’s club media, Alcaraz hopes to follow the legacy of two former Argentine stars to play for the Toffees in Ramiro Funes Mori and Denis Stracqualursi.
“I don’t like losing, so as I said the first time when I arrived at Everton, when I put on this shirt, I’m going to do my best so that things go well for the Club, so that things go well for me,” Alcaraz said.
“That’s what I want to say to the fans, that I hope to continue the legacy made by Stracqualursi and Funes Mori and show people that we Argentines always want to win.”

With the Everton boss working with the Friedkin Group to sign the 22-year-old, Moyes has been pleased with Alcaraz showing he’s also a favourite in the dressing room.
Well, this has been replicated in his early statistics for Everton, as the spirit of Argentina shines through.
