Everton winger Jesper Lindstrom was in action for Denmark on Thursday night against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
David Moyes will have everything crossed his players return to Finch Farm over the next week without any further injury issues.
The international break may have even come as a welcome break for some of the Everton players like Lindstrom who are needing to find some form.
After being dropped by Moyes against West Ham, Lindstrom has admitted he’s been training hard with Denmark to try and find his feet again.
The 25-year-old is running out of time to impress those on Merseyside if he is to earn himself a permanent deal this summer.
But he has been provided some glowing feedback from the Danish media following their victory over Portugal on Thursday.
Lindstrom is keen to remain at Everton, with the winger admitting he’s enjoying life on Merseyside.
But he is in need of upping his performances having only returned a single assist in the Premier League so far.
But there are some positives to take from his showing in the Nations League on Thursday night.

Everton fans have been impressed by Lindstrom under Moyes, but the winger has been unable to really provide the returns needed in the top flight.
It has become apparent the winger is not exactly a proven goalscorer and that was the case on Thursday night.
Lindstrom had a big opportunity to open the scoring, but the Napoli loanee was unable to keep his cool in front of goal.
