Reports have recently suggested that Barcelona want Tonali, having already approached him in 2020. AC Milan fans love Tonali and want nothing more than to see him return to Italy and play for their club once again.
A new report from CaughtOffside has now claimed that Milan believe they will be able to sign Tonali for just €60m (£50m) this summer, a ludicrous fee, considering Newcastle paid £5m more than that to bring him to Tyneside in the first place.
There is no doubt Newcastle will swiftly reject any approach as low as that for the midfielder. Newcastle want at least £70m for Tonali, but Howe and Mitchell are adamant that approaches will be blocked this summer.
