“Two males, including the accused, were seen throwing punches at each other.”

Mr Bell revealed that the pair fled when police ordered them to stop, with Graham caught up to by the officers and the other man escaping.

He continued, saying that Graham was released from Dundee’s police HQ on an undertaking to later appear in court, having been ‘hostile’ whilst in custody.

Defence solicitor Alan Davie revealed that the feud had broken out between the two over tickets for the game.

He said: “The other person was also a Rangers fan, so this was not violence associated with football rivalry.”
