The forward had fans in awe
Marcus Rashford produced the goods as Aston Villa attempted to mount a comeback against PSG, with an incredible assist to set up Ezri Konsa for his side’s third goal of the game. Coming into the game with a two-goal deficit, things got even tougher for Unai Emery’s side when PSG scored a pair of early goals to take the aggregate score to 5-1. Villa weren’t going down without a fight, though, and after Youri Tielemans and John McGinn gave them hope, Konsa brought them within just one goal of levelling the score against the Ligue 1 champions, but it was Rashford who garnered the attention.
The Englishman struggled in the first half up front, but sparked to life after the restart and after picking the ball up on the right flank, he danced past not just one, but two PSG defenders into the area and then dragged the ball back to Konsa who smashed it home. It was sublime from the Manchester United loanee.

Micah Richards is a loved pundit in most parts of the UK. The retired right-back, however, claims Aston Villa fans aren’t keen on him. Ahead of the Villans’ huge Champions League encounter against Paris Saint-Germain, Richards was asked why he was in the CBS Sports studio rather than at Villa Park. His response was short and sweet:
“I’m banned from that stadium. The fans don’t like me there.
“I was at Villa for four years, I played one year and was absolutely terrible. Let’s move one.”

A huge blunder on a massive night in Europe
Ahead of any huge Champions League tie, fans inside the stadium and watching on from home have become used to the familiar tune that belts out. However, the Champions League anthem wasn’t the one played at Villa Park as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa headed into their biggest game in many years.
Instead, the second-leg of the European quarter-final was brought in with the UEFA Europa League song. Supporters on the big occasion may not have been best pleased inside thew ground as the speaker blared out the wrong song.
