James Maddison and Declan Rice have both responded to a reunion between Dele Alli and his former Tottenham teammates Harry Kane and Eric Dier.

During his time at Spurs, Dele had for a time been a key player with the ability to deliver some spectacular moments.

However, a string of issues surrounding his fitness left the attacker out of action for over two years as he struggled to get back to fitness.

But after a period training with his former club Everton, Dele completed a move to Como in Italy earlier this season.

That has now allowed him to get back into a first-team setup, as well as to reunite with two players he previously played alongside for Tottenham, in the form of Kane and Dier.

Given what he has been through recently, there is not going to be many who won’t be rooting for Dele to get his career back on track.

Having now returned to the pitch with Como, he does have the chance to do that again, and Tottenham fans will be interested to see how much of the potential he showed there he can rediscover.

Of course, Dier and in particular Kane were also excellent servants to the club throughout their time with Spurs, and so it may be nice to see those teammates have remained close and backed each other.
