The former Rangers man is back on punditry duty now after Rae left Ibrox with sacked boss Philippe Clement after Celtic’s dominance left their rivals in their wake.
As Celtic continue their hunt for a treble, Rae continues his for a job but as it stands, Superscoreboard have welcomed him back with open arms to join the rest of the ex-Rangers men that dominate their team.
So as the shows host asked which neutral game fans have watched was the best they have seen this season, Celtic fans pounced and made Gordon immediately regret the question.
Celtic fans rinse Alex Rae on Superscoreboard
Celtic fans love nothing more than to wind up Alex Rae and when the question was asked about the best neutral game this season, the Parkhead support knew exactly what to text the show.
Duncan said on Superscoreboard [22m], “Just for a bit of fun, I wanted to know who out there, who was true to our game, who stuck with Partick Thistle against Ayr rather than Inter vs Barca?
“And how close was that to being the best kind of neutral game that you’ve seen? And if it wasn’t that, then give us your suggestions. I should have known, though.
“I should have known. You forget, because I’ve got Celtic fans tweeting in, Rangers nil, Queens Park 1 is the best game they’ve seen. I should have known.”
Alex Rae’s best Celtic clangers
Alex Rae has made a fool of himself on multiple occasions talking about Celtic. Who can forget this classic with Chris Sutton:
However, there have been loads more. Rae got booked at Celtic Park as part of the Rangers coaching team last season and left Hoops fans in tears.
Rae embarrassed himself and Celtic fans when he joined in a celebration at Hampden after beating St Johnstone 6-0 earlier this season.
And after a 3-0 humping at Parkhead, Rae had a meltdown inside Celtic Park at full time that brought joy to the Hoops support.
I’m glad he’s back as a pundit because whilst his analysis is shockingly bad, Rae gaurantees Celtic supporters a right good laugh.
