Is it the right idea for Leeds sign Solomon on a permanent deal?
On face value, 10 goals and 12 assists in the Championship is certainly a level of output you’d take at Premier League level.
That being said, Spurs are the second club in the top flight that haven’t been bothered to keep Solomon, which might suggest he’s not up to scratch.
Injuries have scuppered his electric pace somewhat, and if Leeds aren’t dominating every week, will he be getting the chances to rip teams apart like he has in the last month or so?
It’s hard to say, and any discussion of signing him has to depend on the fee, anything above £10million represents a risk in my opinion.
